Our country’s name is Nepal. It lies between India and China. It is a small country. Our country has a total area of 147,181 sq km. The capital city of Nepal is Kathmandu. My country has many mountains and rivers. The highest mountain Mount Everest of the world lies here. My country is also the birthplace of Gautama Buddha. Our national bird is Lophophorus. Our national animal is a cow. Our national game is volleyball. Our flag is the only non-rectangular flag. The longest river in our country is Karnali. There are 77 districts and 7 provinces in our country. Many visitors visit our country every year because our country is filled with natural beauty. There are many temples in our country as well. We have the only living goddess “Kumari” in our country. Nepali products like ghundhruk, ghee, churpi etc are also very famous in our country. I love my country very much.
