TikTok is a social media platform where one can make short videos like comedy skits, dance, tutorials, etc. It is basically a place where many people show off their talents. It is one of the most used social media apps worldwide designed by China. There are over 100 million users and many videos get uploaded every millisecond. But recently India, where the number of tik tokers is so high, banned it. Initially, India was prohibiting "China-made products" and so it was normal for them but it is found out that it was not the only reason. According to several reports on the Web, it was found out that TikTok is one of the apps which constantly reads users' clipboards. In other words, user's privacy is not quite safe in TikTok and many governments are concerned about citizens' privacy. But denying the statement TikTok clarified that it is not invading privacy but it has a custom system to identify recitative spam behavior. And thus it can be concluded that because TikTok is said to be invading users' privacy, many countries are trying to ban it. But it is yet to be said whether TikTok really invades the privacy of its users or not.
