Maitidevi Temple

A temple is a building used for the worship of a god or goddess. Maitidevi Temple is located between Dillibazar and Gyaneshwor. This temple is believed to have been established in 685 B.S. during the time of Amshuverma.
This temple has been worshipped and taken care of by the Bajracharya of the Newar community. They are known as the caretaker and guardians of the temple, as well as the priest of this temple. Devotees believe that what they desire will be fulfilled when they ask the Maitidevi Goddess. Dashain Ko Chhat is a beautiful temple decorated with many lights and flowers. From morning to evening, people come to Maitidevi temple to worship Pancha Kumari Mata. This temple is decorated with many lights and flowers from Dashain to Chhat, and the grounds are very beautiful. Maitidevi temple is surrounded by human settlements. On the Maitidevi temple premises, there is a big peepal tree, so people use their free time to roam around the temple to kill their tiredness.
This temple lies in Ward No. 30 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. This ward also helps with temple maintenance, sanitation, waste management, and other awareness-building facilities.
