Humans are butterflies they change constantly,
Yet I can’t convince my mind that change can’t come instantly.
A problem well you just need to change yourself,
Just change my thinking and I’ll change myself.
It takes time don’t worry,
Meanwhile I have to change in a hurry.
Why? They ask,
If I don’t then I’ll have to put on a mask.
CHANGE oh CHANGE,
I hate you and love equally,
CHANGE oh CHANGE,
Why does everyone make it seem like you come easily?
Change,
A funny word,
Change,
is no freedom, it's a never ending cycle of the world.
Everytime I “Change for the better”
I find another way to write that letter.
Change the way of the world,
Change will make you smile and feel swirled in lies,
Oh these eyes only search for change,
It’s never the correct thing,
It's always the way I could’ve rearranged.
