I was struggling, it's true
With all new worlds and goals
I felt helpless
It was beyond me
How could I do something more?
Many would snicker
Make remarks
Or have different tones in their voice
They would wonder their questions about me
Or say them to my face
I felt as if I couldn't be happy
Be glad about achieving a goal
Even when no praise was given
I still felt proud of myself
They would tear the proudness apart
Bragging about themselves and lying
Why are you happy
When scoring so low
They would say relentlessly
No happiness seeming to be allowed
Then there was they
Who smiled and gleamed
Who appreciated me
Many would follow in their footsteps
And be more kind
But their tone always said otherwise
They though, never had that tone
They just praised
They would laugh and make me as well
They never had such tone as others
They said things I couldn't say for myself
Without a doubt
They believed in me
Without a word
They trusted me
And people may still wonder why
They make me smile all the time
But in a world like this
I would rather be
In great bliss
