Jeffrey Dahmer is a very well-known serial killer. The murderer even has a Netflix series based on his activities named "My Friend Dahmer." He is famously known as the Milwaukee Cannibal or the Milwaukee Monster. The American serial killer and sex offender’s crimes included murder, necrophilia, cannibalism, dismembering, and permanent preservation of the body parts of his victims.
Dahmer was born on May 21, 1960, like any other child. His childhood was not that great, as he was neglected by both of his parents. As he got older, he started becoming isolated from his parents and friends. As he approached adolescence, he developed an interest in animal carcasses. He began to investigate the bodies of deceased animals, hoping to find their bones. He started drinking heavily. He was bullied during his high school years. He did weird activities, which made him known as the "weird kid." He was told to be highly intelligent with average grades. He eventually discovered that he was gay. He even had a relationship with another boy his age. Dahmer slowly started to sexually fantasize about the chest area and torso of his partners, which went on to intertwine with his interests in dissection. He started to fantasize about dissecting the bodies of the people he was interested in. He began his murderous career after the age of 18. Dahmer’s parents were in the process of divorcing, which resulted in him being left all alone in his home. During this time, he attempted to capture his victims. His first victim was a hitchhiker named Steven Hicks. Dahmer was really good at communication. He tried to make Hicks go back to his house for some drinks. But when Hicks tried to get out of his car, Dahmer hit his head with a dumbbell. Dahmer dissected, pulverized, dissolved, and scattered the remains of his victims in his backyard. He dropped out of college due to his drinking problem. He had even enlisted in the army as a combat medic but got discharged due to the same problem. He was sent to live with his grandmother by his father. During this time, he would go to gay bathhouses and drug and rape men there. But he was never charged for it and was only placed on probation.
His second victim was Steven Tuomi. He had talked Tuomi into going back to his house from the bar. Dahmer had beaten up the boy with an unconscious mind since he had no memory of it. He continued to drug and lure men into his home. He would then rape and strangle them. Slowly, he started committing disturbing acts with the bodies of his victims. He would dismember their bodies, have intercourse with them, take photos of them, put their body parts and genitals on display, and even consume parts of their bodies. His victims were of different ages. Some of his victims were even minors. During the course of 1978–1991, Dahmer murdered 17 males. One of his victims, Tracy Edwards, managed to escape Dahmer. Edwards then ran as fast as he could outside Dahmer's house and called the police. His doings were eventually reflected upon, and he was finally arrested for a total of 958 years. He died in prison from head trauma after being attacked by his fellow inmates. These are the crimes of the famous American serial killer, Jeffrey Dahmer.
