Most of us are aware that the government has taken action against street vendors, ordering them to stop or be removed from the streets. Many people disagree with this statement due to the fact that many videos on social media have stated that this is wrong and that the street vendors also have a right to do their jobs and put food on their plates. This is correct, but The street vendors may seem poor, but they make more money than we think—even more than shopkeepers. Many people think this may be due to the street vendors selling things for cheap and making more money by increasing their prices, but the truth is that the street vendors make money by paying less tax or even no tax. For example, a shopkeeper has to pay tax based on their income, but they also have to pay rent and VAT, which come along with the goods we buy. But the street vendors do not have to pay rent fees, and they also get away by not paying VAT bills, which, in conclusion, makes them earn more than the shopkeeper's. Not only that, but street vendors also take up most of the sidewalks and other public spaces. But they also get until 9 o’clock in the morning to sell their goods, which are not even good quality. I am not including all of them, but I do include most of them.
