She was born as a girl.
Her parents wanted her gone.
So, they made her marry a man.
She was a missus at the age of eighteen.
She never spoke for herself, so she bared it all,
She was abused every day.
She cried herself to sleep,
She made food for the man who cheated her,
But she could do nothing about it.
because she was a girl.
She told her family but only asked to be quiet.
She told the police but was neglected.
They showed her false hope,
They told her she would be happy,
She gave birth but was disrespected by her child.
She got a job but got fired because she was a woman.
She died of a heart attack.
No one cared.
Because at the end of the day, a woman is considered weak.
