The day I first held my book,
The day I first wore my school uniform,
The first time I was away from my parents,
Making new friends and meeting new people.
When I was playing a game,
Playing swings and going through the slides,
I imagine my future being bright.
I had already decided to read with my heart.
to make my parents and society proud.
In the class, at first I was scared of my teachers,
When they came with their wide smile,
I immediately thought, "They are the ones,
Who will transform my life from darkness to light.
That was the day I was full of joy.
That was the beginning of my life.
That was the day my eyes welled up with tears.
Yes, that was the most wonderful day of my life.
