We are all social animals. For social animals, it is important to communicate. However, we have all experienced stage fright or difficulty speaking. It sometimes feels uncomfortable, right? You sometimes go in front of people prepared, but once you reach the stage, you start feeling uncomfortable, and then you forget everything. It has happened to many of us. It has happened to me as well. But how do we overcome this problem? It is really simple. You just have to remember a few things while preparing for a speech. But why is public speaking important? Here are some reasons:
To help boost confidence.
Public speaking makes you feel open and comfortable.
It helps to become better at communication in day-to-day life.
Public speaking becomes easier for us as we practise.
To help you become socially active and also helps to build a good reputation in society.
To help spread our opinions, thoughts, and wishes. It helps us express ourselves.

Now, how can we be better speakers? We have to remember to follow some tips. They are:-
Select a suitable topic that the audience will enjoy. It will interest the audience.
Imagine your success before going on the stage. Consider yourself successful on stage.
Communicate with the audience often.
Have eye contact with the audience.
Do not speak as if it is memorised.
Make the speech simple.
Use body language; staying stationary will make you appear dull.
Practice everyday.
Public speaking is important for all of us for our personal development.
