Our school in collaboration with Metropolitan Police took the students of grade 8 and 9 In the metropolitan police office located at Ranipokhari, Kathmandu.
As we arrived there DSP Govinda Raj Kafle started the program with a formal talk. After the talk with Mr. Govinda Raj Kafle, we were taken to the CCTV and the control center of the police department. They showed us how many main chowks and cities have been covered with CCTV and CRV (control room vehicle). We were also instructed by the police officers about dialing 100 in case of emergencies. We were also shown some technical department of the police. After this visit the technical department DIG Sailash Thapa Kshetri made us aware of different topics related to our safety as well as others’ safety. We got to learn many things from his personal experiences.
This visit was fruitful and interesting.
