Sports play a significant role in a country's culture. It is crucial as a form of recreation in addition to keeping you healthy and fit. Unfortunately, the trend in our nation is to only pay attention to the academic realm. In the same way that we must water a tree’s roots in order for it to flourish, we must instil the idea of sports in children at an early age, or in schools, in order to develop athletes who could represent their country. We are overlooking the important role that sports play in providing a comprehensive education.

Children’s interaction with nature is deteriorating with time. When I was younger, it was only natural for me to primarily spend my time. But nowadays, most children’s lives are spent in restricted situations. It's unfortunate that they will never experience the fun we have had outside. Playing sports has several advantages since it promotes healthy mental development. It teaches life lessons to children including cooperation, leadership, tolerance, and social graces. It fosters self-assurance, self-control, and playing within the rules. It teaches life skills and also helps in decision making.

Children who are physically active have better physical health and have greater stamina than children who spend most of their time inside. Playing outside promotes blood flow to the brain, which stimulates neurotransmitters and improves learning and attention span. They become exhausted from the physical activities, which cause them to become hungry. They then eat enough food promptly and go asleep at night. They will carry on with these positive behaviours for the rest of their lives. Outdoor activities prevent health issues including heart disease and obesity in later life. It is a simple yet effective means of better life. Therefore, it becomes even more crucial to reform the way schools see sports. It ought to be a required activity.
