The metropolitan police office is located at Ranipokhari, Kathmandu. It controls 3 districts : Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur. Firstly when we got there, the DSP Govinda Raj Kafle gave us some information about the metropolitan police office. He said that the role of the police is to monitor accidents, to reduce crime, to help during disasters. Their work is also to aware people about many things. He also told us about CRV. The whole office was under the supervision of DIG Shailesh Thapa. He said that he has been working in that field for 27 years.
