Clowns are actors or comedians whose job is to make people laugh. They work in circuses, amusement parks, stages, films and even on streets. They make people laugh with their funny gestures, entertain us by playing tricks, juggling and also do acrobatics and other physical skills. Clowns painted their faces with red noses and hid their real faces, wore oversized shoes and interacted with the audience. Clowns can either look happy or sad but their job is to make people happy. Some people have a fear of clowns which is called coulrophobia. International clown week is celebrated every year in the first week of August.
