There was this girl.
all fancied up
ready to go to a party
she still dreads that day.
where she hid under the bed
was dragged by the leg
during the party,
She read a book.
Then she was shaken.
by the sound of a boy
he was holding a knife.
wearing all white.
blood running down his eyes
within the library
Traumatising events
is what she goes through every day,
she has many friends.
but still feels alone.
she has a lot of money.
but still feels poor and empty.
still, she knows that money can’t buy happiness.
she knows everything.
but still feels unintelligent.
she has everything.
but still feels incomplete.
she needs nothing.
but it is still sad
Now, she is tired of her life.
