Deerwalk Debate Night

On 10th Ashoj, Friday Deerwalk Debate Night was held on Sagarmatha hall of DWIT. All together there were 36 students in the finale of both the categories (Nepali and English). The program started at 4 P.M. Before the program began,  the finalists were taken to Sagarmatha Hall for rehearsals.. After the rehearsal, we returned to school and had snacks then at 3 P.M. We again went to DWIT. Then at 4 P.M. all the parents started to come in the hall. Then we entered the from the back entrance as they slowly announced the names of the finalists. First the finalists of the english category spoke on the topic, "Students Should Not Be Graded on the basis of their handwriting". After their amazing debate the finalists of the Nepali language category spoke on their topic, “बैदेशिक रोज्गर भन्दा स्वदेशी रोज्गर ठीक”. After all the debaters were done, the students of grade 1,2,3 sang a song. After that all the finalists were given certificates. Then the DSS debate champion was declared. The winner was Pranjal Khatiwoda from grade 7 in English Language Category and the winner of Nepali Language category was me, Adhit Upadhyay from grade 10. It was truly a wonderful experience as well as an amazing memory.
