Once there was a boy whose name was Devin. He was studying in a very renowned college of the town. His parents were very proud of him because he was not from a wealthy family but because of his hardship he was able to come to this level. Devin was loved by everyone. His teachers were very proud of him. Devin’s last term example had done very nicely so everyone was proud of him. Devin was a very nice looking boy. Most of the girls in his class were crushing on him but he never looked at them. He always focused on his studies. After his last term examination he went to live with his aunt. There he met with her aunt's children who were the same age. They too became good friends with each other. When Riyash (Aunt's child) asked him about his facebook user name. Devin became blank. He said he didn't have any accounts. Riyash started to laugh at him. After some days his father gifted him a very expensive mobile phone. He remembered how his friends enjoyed using social media so he also decided to use it.
After some months, he started to use social media and also made his own account in different apps like Facebook, Instagram ,Twitter etc. He used to use his social media very rarely but when the time passed, he started to use social media continuously. After finishing his homeworks, he used to revise all the lessons before but now he was 24/7 busy on his mobile. He didn't spend time with his parents. He used to stay in his room all day playing mobile games and chatting with his friends. One day while scrolling through instagram he found an account of a very beautiful girl. He decided to send her a request. He was not sure that she would accept his request or not but he really liked that girl. After a few days his request got accepted. He saw her posts and stories and fell in love with her. He wanted to text her but did not have enough courage. But one day he gathered up his courage and wished her a happy birthday. Then their conversation began. They both shared their information. They both talked about their goals and future plans. They talked with each other everyday. It seemed that Sejal also liked him through her texts. They were in a long distance relationship. They both could not resist talking to each other even for a single day. By all this time, Devin also realized that he was madly in love with Sejal. He only thought about Sejal and dreamed about her all day and all night. He was so addicted to Sejal and he even told his mother about that girl. His mother ignored that because she thinks he’s still young to talk about love. Devin didn't realize that his studies were slowly worsening. He was not the first guy anymore. His parents and teachers were worried about him but he really didn't care at all. All he was worried about was Sejal. His exam results were not good anymore. He was getting a lot of pressure from his parents and teachers. As his result got worse he now got scolded everyday. But he still did not stop talking with her. Only Devin asked Sejal to run out of the house and go somewhere else. Devin asked this to her because he was fed up by the pressure his parents gave him. He was frequently texting Sejal but she was not replying. He was very sad and worried. Later they got a text from Sejal to meet him at a park. He was surprised how she knew about the park near his school. When he went there he saw his friends there. He was very shocked to see them. Even the principal sir and his parents were there. After knowing what the truth was, Devin was bursted tears. His friend Pratyush was behind the girl named Sejal. It was his fake id. He was pranking with him all the time. When Devin asked why he did so he replied that he wanted to see him be a failure. He was jealous of his success. He wanted to put him in all those love things and spoil his studies. At the exam when Devin's marks got low he was very happy and wanted to continue the fake Sejal things. But principal sir heard everything he had done while he was sharing things with his best friend. And everything came to an end. Devin was very shocked and sad. His own friend was jealous of his success and pulled a “hilarious” prank on him. Pratysh got suspended for his behavior and Devin was very shameful and embarrassed.
Devin gave his phone to his dad and asked him only to return when he would get good grades as before. He now had stopped using his phone and worked hard in his studies. He anyhow wanted to gain his first position and wanted to make his teachers and parents proud. He studied day and night. When the second term examination result came his hard work was reflected there. He again was in the top position. He was very happy that he did it. His parents and teachers were very amused and proud of him. Devin had learned a very important lesson from the behavior of his friend.
