Once upon a time in an ancient world where technology was not developed. The land percentage was even less and there were thousands of different islands. In one of those islands there lived a small boy. His father had left him and his mother was sick. The boy was lonely and everyone disrespected him. He used to spend most of his time in a bar helping the lady working there. There was also a huge forest near the village where he lived and he used to go there to play. His name was Joey.
One day unfortunately his mother passed away. After the doctor told the news he was shocked and ran away to the forest crying. He ran crying until his legs hurt, then he stopped and saw above him a child of his same age swinging in the branches having fun and enjoying his life. The child on the tree saw Joey crying and he asked why he was crying and to play. Then Joey stopped crying and joined Jack and started playing. Joey and Jack became good friends and Joey had forgotten all the pain he felt during the passing of his mother. Jack was from a rich family and he used to run away from home to play with Joey. He didn't like his parents and his parents forced him to read and be a successful man to take over their family business. Jack didn’t like his parents while Joey desperately wanted his parents back. They two had different mindset yet they two became inseparable. They both started meeting each other almost everyday for a long time and soon his parents found out and hired a guard to not let Jack go out but that didn’t prevent Jack from meeting Joey. They both kept getting closer and closer. They both did mischief together, they both stole food together and they both played together. One day they decided to set sail together and go on an adventure together and from that day forward they declared themselves as brothers. Months had passed Jack’s parents were worried that Jack would always run away from home to go play with Joey. Then one day they mysteriously disappeared. The next day when Jack and Joey were playing, a huge cannon shot was heard from the distance. At first they wondered what had happened and then they started ignoring it and kept on playing. Then they saw a huge fire spreading and heard villagers screaming “pirates”. The fire was spreading quickly and many people were getting killed. Both Jack and Joey were afraid and then started hiding. The pirates then landed on the island and started creating havoc killing everyone in sight, destroying everything in sight until they both found Jack and Joey. Then they captured both of them and then kept both of them in a separate cage and they left the ship. Their ship was massive and had a parrot as its flag. The captain of the ship was old and then he took Jack up to the deck and gave him to his parents and said,”the deal is done”. Like a pirate he had an eyepatch one of his hands and legs were missing and replaced with a hook and a stick respectively. He started marching downwards and asked Joey in a rough voice “So you areJack’s friend what should I do to you now hmph….?”. After hearing this Joey was scared and then the captain responded, “I am Black Bill known as gray beard and I hereby command you to join my crew as a sweeper”. Then after saying this he laughed.
Joey was shocked seeing that answer. He thought he was going to die here but he got an opportunity to live. He had no choice and he accepted his proposal and he was released and from the next day he started sweeping the floor and setting sail at gray beard’s ship to find Jack one day and escape that ship.
