As we know smoking is a bad habit and must not be followed. At this time, smoking is a huge health problem.
Thousands smoke and millions die each year. There are more deaths of passive smokers rather than active smokers. Some smoke because of stress and others because of unnecessary imitation. There are many reasons except that as well.Cigarettes are made from tobacco plants. Cigarettes have nicotine which makes the person addicted to it. Smoking affects the lungs and the heart which leads to various diseases such as lung cancer, heart diseases, bronchitis, tuberculosis etc. Smoking affects the environment badly. Cigarette butts can cause forest fires and pollution, since it takes 15-25 years to decay. It is a waste of money. It makes the smokers' social reputation bad. We can minimise the number of people who smoke by holding social awareness program and the smoker itself can minimise it. Overall, smoking is injurious to health and the environment. As a conclusion, I would say and prefer that smoking should be made illegal.
