Earth is the third planet in the solar system. Earth is round in shape. Its parts are separated in land and water. About one-quarter of the earth is land and three-quarters of the earth is water. Human beings, animals and plants exist in the earth. The surface of the land is not the same in all parts like mountains, plains, valleys, and Himalayas. The water part of the earth is made up of ocean, pond, river, etc. Earth is surrounded by an atmosphere. Earth has an invisible force that pulls objects together. It is called gravity. Earth’s gravity is what keeps us on the ground and makes things fall.
