The civilization of human society began when people discovered fire. It played an important role as it supported humans day to day life. As time passed by, the development of human society increased rapidly, when they discovered electricity which became their necessity for survival. Without a doubt, electricity has proven to be one of the greatest inventions of human mankind.
Like food, water, and air, electricity has also become a basic necessity of human life. We enjoy all our comforts with the help of electricity. Without electricity, many humans from this era cannot survive for days. However, it depends on the human, where they live, and how much they depend on electricity. Life without electricity would be rough in human society, as there won’t be any sorts of communication between people, all the communication towers would be shut down due to lack of supply power, as for cell phones it won't be of any help as there is no internet connection. Many people will lose their lives in a vehicle crash because traffic lights won't work, there won't be any water left for washing your hands or for a bath, Also the toilet won't flush either. You won't be able to feed your stomach because the refrigerators won't work, and there would be a lack of supply of food materials. All of your economies would be washed away as banks can't cooperate without the supply of electricity. All hotels and restaurants would be closed as they also need electricity to run. We would be left out with nothing, and we all have to see each other fall into the world of darkness.
Different technologies that humans have invented depend upon electricity. Like Tube Lights, , Lamps, cell phones, radios, TVs, etc have become necessities of our life, and they are useless without electricity. The refrigerator uses the electricity to store our eatables, electric stoves that we use daily to cook also requires electricity, washing machines as well, and the water supply that we need for our survival also depends upon electricity. Every factory needs a supply of electric power to rotate its wheels to produce goods. Also, various kinds of surgery can be done only with the help of electricity. It is also said a country with greater production of electricity can develop at a rapid speed.
Every year more than a thousand people die because of electric shock. Though it is one of the boons of society, it poses a dangerous risk to society. It has been acting as a servant that serves the human world 24hrs a day. It's like a gift that humans have to use wisely keeping its risk into consideration.
