Reddit is an online community where people all around the world can share their thoughts on a certain topic or thread. The people can upload their opinions, memes, posts, links, images etc. in a certain community they are joined to. The users can share their thoughts, hobbies, works, arts, songs and many more on the community anonymously too. There are different communities to join according to your interests and choice.
Reddit was officially created on 2005 in USA. Reddit is written in python language using different libraries and modules. Reddit is home to many famous creator communities like r/ksi, r/hacking, r/meme, r/MadeMeSmile etc. The communities are called as subreddits. The subreddits are recognised from the tag r/. Reddit’s mission is to bring communities and people all over the world to the same place to work together and share skills together. The employees of reddit are given funds, workspace, professional funds etc. too. Reddit uses SQL frameworks to store the data in an mySQL database along with jQuery for the responsiveness of the website. Reddit has 14 billion+ posts and opinions up and running on the website which can be reached out by anyone. Reddit uses embeds, livestreams and advertising for partnerships with other organisations and online offices. The Reddit user interface is consistent and supports dark/light mode according to the user’s preference.
There are awards that can be given to the post owners that give their comments on a certain topic. Some of the awards are Platinum Award, Gold Award, Argentium Award and Ternion All-Powerful Award which supports the sub-reddit and the user. Reddit is a very interesting and fun place to visit and learn many things from the sub-reddits.
