The night has made its way,
The clock, ticking for hours.
Footsteps from the stairs made me shiver in fear
I hear a bang from the door.
The nightmare has returned again.
I can feel the bed sinking and my heart beating faster.
He is here now my eyes are filled with tears,
His touch puts me in terror.
He always does that,
He leaves me in pain.
I feel so disgusted with myself
What did I ever do to deserve this?
I want to run away,
But I fear that he will kill me.
Or badly torture me,
With tears in my eyes I wonder will I ever escape?
