Bhanubhakta Acharya was the first Nepali poet. He is also famous as “Aadhi Kabi” of Nepali language as he has written a lot of poems in this language. He even translated the greatest epic Ramayana from Sanskrit language into our mother tongue. His birth anniversary is celebrated every year in the month of Ashar as a tribute to the legend.
