In the year of 2000 I was born in a countryside village to a farmer household. I had 2 brothers and 1 sister. My parents loved everyone in our family and I had a normal childhood. But one day my oldest brother and my younger sister tragically died in a school bus accident when I was in the 5th grade. My elder brother and I had not gone to school that day because we had caught a huge fever and I thought I was going to die. All of us were devastated after finding out about the deaths of their children. They cried a lot and it took them a year to partially recover.

Then life started moving on normally, when I was in 8th grade when a major incident occurred. It was the beginning of the year and like normal I was heading to the class. I was an average student. I was not particularly good in any subjects and I had average student friends with whom I spent time with after school. They were not bright students but were good friends and they supported me in every incident imaginable. My friends and I entered the classroom and we went to our desks. She was our previous class teacher and this year as well. Then a new boy entered the classroom. He was a handsome boy, I saw him and my chin dropped and I fell in love with him at first sight and immediately imagined marrying him but reality struck and I realized that I was a boy and had romantic feelings for another boy later I come to identify myself as gay. Then the teacher told him to introduce himself. Then he started speaking, “My name is Jack. Nice to meet all of you”.

Then the days began to go by and each day the love for him began to grow. Then on our last day of school I confessed my love for him, after a very nervous talk and to my surprise he reciprocated them. Then I started spending time with him. Jack’s parents were superstars and had a lot of influence on the internet. I was in 11th grade when my life went downhill. By that time I had fully come to terms about my sexuality. Then one day some of our classmates caught Jack and I kissing, they took a pic sneakily and leaked it on the internet. Jack's parents upon seeing the photo were shocked, they called the guard, got me beat up and thrown out and we were forbidden to see each other. The photo that was leaked went viral and I had a lot of haters and my parents also kicked me out because I was gay even my brother who admired me looked at me in a disgusting way. My parents began cursing me and they yelled that they wished I had died in the  rash and not my other siblings. It hurt a lot. I had a hard time living and starved most of the days because I didn't get food. I could get a job but that was tough because of that leaked photo. Everyone knew me in that photo and they used to beat me up to a plump just because I was attracted to the same gender. Then I met an old lady who ran a tea shop she accepted my request and when she learned  I was gay she just laughed and encouraged me not to give up in life I was very inspired from her words and I had just financially managed to survive then one day our President Joe Biden declared that June was the month of LGBTQ+ which was know as the month of pride.

After declaring that many people from whom I got hate comments from apologised and I naturally forgave them. One day while I was working in the tea shop I got a phone call from my brother, he apologized to me and he told me that my parents both died due to heart disease and after hearing that I dropped my phone and I started crying. My parents died with hate in their heart for me or maybe not, who knows. But I will never be able to live a full life knowing I was unable to make amends with them before they departed this world.
