Behind the curtains is what all lies
There lies the scared mother
With her child
While the world is facing a war
And behind the curtain lies
A little child
Who has yet not seen the world
It was that dark curtain
That saved many from the nazis
And it will be the same dark curtain
That will save the lives of Ukraine
The same dark curtain it is
Which prevents the
The little ones seeing
The ruthless war
And the same dark curtain
Which if torn
Will reveal all the darkness
In this bright world
Behind the dark world of a dark curtain
Lies a simple hope
To flee to be free
From all the pain
From all the sufferings
Of the bright cruel world
There lies a
Silver lining for surviving the world
Behind the same curtain
