Everyone seems to hide
With a mask on,
Locking on their feelings
From everyone.
It’s hard to open up
When you don’t know what’s going on
But it’s okay because you’ll
Have someone someday.
Someone who can make you feel safe
Who can erase the bad memories you made,
And make you a place where
You’ll have a smile on your face.
Someone will show you that
Life doesn’t have to be picture-perfect,
Life is like a roller coaster.
Sometimes we don’t even know
What’s happening?
But deep down we know
We have them.
Someone will love you like
the moon loves the sun
Who will go with you in
Your bad times,
Who will make you feel complete,
And who will be your favorite hello
And your hardest goodbye.
