Sometime
I’ve tried to smile with a glow every day,
But sometimes I have to say,
“I am just finding it hard to grow today.”
Shine and shimmer like stars you are,
But again sometimes black holes come from the same stars.
I’m not trying to be a pessimist,
Sometimes I just can’t constantly be an optimist.
Shine and glow,
But sometimes can’t I just show,
My true colours,
Without being called a flower becoming duller.
I’ll try to spread,
The wings,
But I can’t without a single feather shead,
Sometimes I just can’t be the puppeteer pulling the strings.
