Rabbit is my favourite animal. I especially like its white colour and soft hair. Rabbit has four legs and a tail. It has big ears and two bright eyes. It is a very playful animal and jumps around the whole day. Rabbit likes to eat carrots, lettuce, fruit, leaves and vegetables. It is a vegetarian animal. Rabbit is a domestic animal, it is also found in the forest.
Rabbits dig burrows into the ground and live there. They like to graze in the grass for long periods of time and they like to stay in a large group. Rabbits are also called ‘Bunny’. The male rabbit is called ‘duck’ and the female rabbit is called ‘doe’. There are more than 300 species of rabbit. The lifespan of rabbits is 8 to 10 years. They can run very fast and if the rabbit does not feed for 12 hours then it can die. They are very active animals. Nowadays, people keep rabbits as their pet animals.
