SARS-CoV-2 virus  also known as Coronavirus. The first known coronavirus case was reported  in Wuhan, China on 31 December 2019. After China it started to spread all over the world. At first people didn't care a lot about it. But later it became one of the most dangerous viruses. This virus can easily transfer from one person to another. The most common symptoms of coronavirus include flu-like symptoms such as fever, dry cough, and shortness of breath or difficulty breathing. The first Covid-19 case in Nepal was confirmed on 23 January 2020 when a 31 year old student who had returned from Wuhan to Kathmandu tested positive for coronavirus. Some of the preventive measures for coronavirus are wearing masks, avoiding crowded places, washing hands, using hand sanitizer etc. There are many rumors about coronavirus. Many people also lost their lives because of coronavirus. The most affected countries by coronavirus are the United States with total cases of 50,705,257. Many countries also started to make vaccines against coronavirus. There were also many side effects of vaccines some of them are fever, headache, body pain etc. Coronavirus also affected human beings in many ways. It made people lose their jobs, lose their lives as well as their family members. Coronavirus also made many countries go into lockdown. Due to the lockdown students weren't able to get the proper education. But after some time all the schools started to have online classes. This made both teacher and students' lives a bit easier. But online education was not as effective as physical education. Students did not pay much attention in the online class. They would watch youtube or use social media or even play games. After some time, the school also started to have online tests and exams. Students also started to become lazy because of the online classes and were not able to perform well on physical exams. Everyone was trapped in the same house and in the same room, victims stuck with their abusers or in abusive and hostile environments. Nepal was also affected in many ways by the coronavirus. Nepal went into lockdown for straight 6 months because of the lockdown. People were not able to go home because of the lockdown. People also started to have trauma because of the coronavirus. Many people had to lose their close friends and relatives. There have been a total of 824k cases of coronavirus in Nepal with 11,554 deaths. Now people are more serious about coronavirus. People have started to take precautions and follow safety measures. Schools have also opened in many countries with all the precautions. Now masks are compulsory in every school and teachers must be vaccinated. Students also have to wear masks and their temperature is checked before entering the school. Again a new virus has been reported in South Africa known as omicron virus. Rumors said that this is a developed version of coronavirus and it leads to instant death. It was also reported in Nepal but there were only 2 cases in the beginning, however as of now it has increased a lot. Finally, I would like to say that coronavirus is not a joke. Many people have lost their lives because of coronavirus So we should follow all the safety measures and avoid crowded places.
