Well, we all watch anime these days and we have watched a lot of them especially since the lockdown period. Anime is very interesting once you start to understand the story or plot. One of my favorite anime is “One Piece”. Despite being awfully long, One Piece is an amazing anime with a lot of characters who have their own role in various parts.
It is arguably one of the best anime out there and one must try it if they are really anime fans. The main character of the show is Monkey D. Luffy. Luffy has the dream of becoming the king of the pirates by attaining the greatest treasure, one piece, which only one crew could attain so far. As the name suggests he is very stupid character who is the captain of the straw hats pirates. He has 10 members in his crew. Though having comparatively less crew members, all of them are very strong, in fact, they have their own roles like being a doctor or a navigator. The right-hand man of Luffy (also known as the pirate hunter) is Roronoa Zoro who was a pirate hunter who hunted bounties in pirate’s head, until he met Luffy. Though being stupid, Luffy has a kind heart and a strong sense of love towards his comrades. The writer of this anime, Eiichiro Oda, is trying to convey to us that pirates are not exactly how we think they are miraculous scary looking dudes with beards. However, some pirates are cruel and the marine tries to hunt down those pirates but the good ones are not spared either.
Escaping from the marines is futile so the good pirates also get caught up in fights among the marines. Unironically, Luffy is being hunted down by the Marines as he has a bounty of 1.5 Billion Berries which is too much looking at his age, just 17. The king of the pirates Gol D. roger has a bounty of 5.54 billion which is overwhelming.
Oda is the master of mysteries. He has not revealed even 40% of the total story and the fact that we are not even aware of who the mother of Luffy is makes it even more amazing to watch. One piece is said to be continued until 2025.There are some other characters who are said to be the rivals of Luffy and are, if not as strong- but nearly in the level of Luffy. Apart from that, the one-piece manga is also quite popular among manga’s these days. It has up to chapter 1033 and is still ongoing.
So, if you really into the Anime World, you should check out “One-piece” for sure but I would not suggest you this anime if you are impatient as this anime takes at least 4 months to complete.
