Jasmine

Jasmine is a flower. It is considered as a shrub or vine, most closely related to the olive family. Jasmines are white and yellow. There are around 200 species of Jasmine that are recognized by a characteristic showy, flowering bud whose fragrance can easily envelop an entire room or garden. These flowers are also used to flavor beverages, frozen dairy desserts, candy, baked goods and puddings. Tea can be made from Jasmine flowers. Some species of jasmine are used to make oil and perfume. Women especially from Asia wear Jasmine flowers in their hair. Jasmine grows moderately in warm climates. It is widely cultivated for its flower. Each flower has 4 to 9 petals. It is also considered the national flower of several countries. It is popular worldwide for its beauty and fragrance.
