The Solar System is very large. It is made up of all the planets orbiting our Sun. In addition to the planets, the Solar System also contains moons, comets, asteroids, small planets, dust and gas. The Sun is the largest star in our solar system and has the largest magnetic field on its axis.
There are eight planets in our solar system: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Jupiter is the largest of the planets and Mercury is the smallest.  Venus is said to be the brightest and hottest planet.  The Earth is the only planet known to support life. Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun. It is also known for its ring system and these rings are made of tiny particles of ice and rock. Uranus is the lightest planet. Neptune is the last planet of our solar system and is the coldest too.
Researchers continue to study life on Mars. They want to know more about the planets with all the new technologies and the invention of science. They are taking a step forward in discovering interesting facts about the Solar System.
The sun, in fact, is the largest star in our solar system and has the largest magnetic field on its axis.
