How we protect our house by locking the door, closing the window, etc.  In the same way, we must secure our phone, tab, laptop and other electrical devices too. The internet is used for many different purposes like watching videos, playing games, chatting with friends, shopping, working, bank work, gaining knowledge, entertainment and many others. The internet can be accessed through many devices like computers, laptops, tablets, iPad, smartwatches and even mobile phones. This is great, but can also be dangerous if we do not use it with care.  If we do not use them carefully then strangers, hackers, and criminals can harm us. They can harm our family, friends in real life.
Safety Tips
-Always keep your device updated with the latest operating system, antivirus,  software and security updates together, they protect you from viruses, hackers and much more.
-Regularly check your privacy settings to ensure your details are safe.
-Do not share sensitive information with strangers, not even in phone calls and emails.
-Wherever you are alone or with family let them know your location.
-We find free wifi in many places like schools, colleges, bus stops, restaurants etc. Well, free wifi is awesome but we should be careful while using the free wifi. Avoid using open and untrusted wifi for money transfer or online school. We can do all this in-home wifi. It is much safer than untrusted and unknown wifi.
-Do not open or respond to emails received from unknown sources.
-Do not click links that come from strangers.
- Put a strong password on your Facebook account, google account, email account and bank account.
- If some strange or unknown number calls you do not receive calls without informing your parents.
-Let your parents or elders know if you are making new friends with strangers.
So we need to be very careful in the world of the internet.
