Still in the mannequin,
Remains a dress, pretty yet unbought
In the midst of the crowd
Her presence has been notified
and yet unnoticed
She has been worn
Yet looked over
She has been liked
But also criticized
And she's been hanging in the mannequin
Pretty and unbothered
There she's been in the mass
Forgotten, and neglected
She's been displayed at the very front
Yet always been the second option
She's been un-fitting to those who liked her
And complementing to those who criticized
She's been too good to be in sale
Yet inferior to be the expensive
And there in the mass
She's gone unnoticed and unbeknownst
And eventually she realised
Only way she can feel appreciated
Is in her head
By validating herself
Without the spectators
And without the mass and the observer
And yet again
In the midst of the crowd,
Still in the mannequin,
Remains a dress, unbought yet so pretty.
