During my last vacation. I went to Lumbini with my parents . Lumbini is the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. It is one of the World Heritage Sites of Nepal.
Moreover, it is a religious place for Buddhists.
We reached there at 6:00pm. We booked the hotel. We were tired that day, so we decided to take a rest. The next day we explored Lumbini. We visited Maya Devi Temple; we also saw Buddha’s palace. When we moved from there we found an ancient pond where Maya Devi took a bath after giving birth to Lord Buddha. We moved ahead from there and found the Ashoka Pillar erected by the emperor Ashoka of India. Ashoka pillar is the evidence which proves Buddha was born in Nepal. Besides that, we also saw different monasteries. I really like Lumbini and I think it is the best place for tourists.
