I came to know the Dalai Lama when my mother bought me a book about him. His book has a very nice cover. The Dalai Lama is the spiritual leader of the Tibetan Buddhists. He is the 14th Dalai Lama. He was born in Takster, Tiber. When he was almost three years old, some monks came from the capital, Lhasa looking for the boy who was the reincarnation of the Dalai lama. Then he started to study how to be a spiritual leader. Like trees never forget that it was born from a seed, the Dalai Lama never forgot the seed of compassion that his mother planted in him. His mother taught him how to be compassionate. The Dalai Lama also teaches us how to be compassionate. This book taught me that kindness in children is very strong and we need to practise it more.
