The day when we were born is called our birthday, it is an occasion. Birthdays occur only once a year. We get birthday gifts, birthday cards and birthday blessings on our birthday. If we do not get any gifts on our birthday we should not be mad or sad. Most of us celebrate birthdays by spending lots of money. We should not spend a lot of money on our birthdays. That day is not about spending money. It is being with our close ones and getting blessed. People celebrate birthdays in many different ways.
Here, I am going to tell you how I celebrate my birthday.
On my birthday, I get up early in the morning. I take a bath and pray to the gods and take blessings from my elders. My grandfather does Ashta Chiranjeevi puja and prays for my better health and future. In the evening celebration, my relatives and friends gather at my house. My family members decorate the house with balloons and more birthday decorations and they make the day very special for me. All of them wish me a happy birthday. My mother prepares different dishes of my choice. I cut the cake on my birthday. After the cake cutting program, my friends and I dance and play. I love and enjoy celebrating my birthday with my close ones.
