Mhapuja is a puja done by Newari people. It is the most important festival of Newar. It is celebrated on the fourth day of Tihar. During  Mhapuja people worship themselves. Mha Puja is done in the evening or afternoon in my family. In Newari Language ‘Mha’ means ‘our body’. This day is also celebrated as ‘Newari New Year’. They give fruits to themselves and worship and give blessings to our body.
