Scam

Nowadays online scams continue to emerge and can vary greatly. This term usually refers to someone who uses online resources or software to defraud or exploit victims, especially for financial gain. Cybercriminals can communicate with potential victims through personal or work accounts, social networking sites such as Facebook, Instagram, games such as Free Fire, Pubg etc., in an attempt to obtain private financial information or other confidential information. Especially during the lockdown, it is common. In 10 minutes 1 crime just pops up.
On Facebook, a scammer copies the name, profile picture, and basic information from a real account to create a second, more identical account. Next, they send friend requests to the list of real account friends in an attempt to access the personal information of unsuspecting friends who provide access to their profiles.
If we receive a friend request from someone who should already be on our friend list, search for his or her account. If we find two identical accounts, it may be a sign that one of the accounts is fake.
Next is an unexpected reward scam. We sometimes receive an email claiming to have won a large sum of money, a free trip to an exotic location, or some other wonderful prize. To claim our trip or win, the message will say, you only need to pay a small fee. After paying those fees, we never hear from the organization again. Therefore, we need to beware of fraudsters whom we should not trust on these types of websites,  messages or if you find a scam we just need to file a complaint.
