Mobile phones are often also called "cellular phones". It is a device particularly used for voice calls. Currently, technology has made our life simple and easy. Nowadays, with the help of a cell phone, we easily communicate or video chat with every person throughout the world just by moving our fingers. Today cell phones are available in numerous sizes and styles. There are 'Smartphones'. Like every device, mobile phones also have advantages and disadvantages. Let us discuss that.
Advantages of Mobile Phone
1) It keeps us connected with our friends and relatives at any time.
2) It is the means of entertainment, we listen to music, watch movies etc on the mobiles.
4) Mobiles are also used as a wallet for making payments by downloading the Mobile Banking.
5) We take classes through mobile phones and there are many learning opportunities available on cell phones.
Disadvantages of Mobile Phones
1) Mobile phones waste our time and money.
2) It causes isolation. Now, we do not meet each other physically, rather we chat or comment on social media.
3) Excessive use of mobile phones affects our physical and mental health.
4) Addiction to mobile phones causes distraction to our studies and work.
5) Mobile phones are one of the reasons for road accidents.
A mobile phone could have both positive and negative effects, depending on how we use it. So, we need to use them correctly and wisely.
