Earth is our mother planet which provides habitat to millions of species of plants and animals. Earth is the third planet from the Sun. It is the only planet known to have life on it. It was formed around 4.5 billion years ago. It is one of four rocky planets in the Solar System. Earth is the only planet that has an atmosphere in the entire solar system. Earth’s atmosphere
nourishes life and protects it from harmful UV rays and meteorites. Earth is our planet and we should take all the necessary steps to maintain the continuity of life. As the only livable planet of the sun, we should respect and protect our earth from our wrong practices and we should participate in volunteering activities that would make our earth a sustainable planet for future generations.
