The PUBG Mobile Esports 2021 season is in full growth and rocking right now. Likewise, recently Peacekeeper Elite Asia Invitational (PEI), an Asian Invitational tournament where qualified and invited teams from the Asian circuit will face-off for a massive prize pool of CNY 3,000,000 equal to 456,795 US dollar was organized by a Chinese rebranded version of PUBG Mobile also known as Game for Peace. It started from Jan 27 to Jan 29 which was held in China.
The tournament was played in FPP mode on Game. There were 15 teams in the tournament from different countries including Nepal and it was divided into 15 matches, 5 matches per day. The points in the tournament are divided in two categories. One on the basis of kills and another on placements. The team to secure 1st position gets 12 points, 2nd position 10 points, 3rd position 8 points and for lower position points gradually decreases. Likewise, each kill in the 1st & 2nd zone is worth 2 points while the remaining zones are worth 1 point.
Among the top best 15 teams of Asia such as Team Weibo, Valdus The Murder, Royal Never Give Up, DRS Gaming, REJECT, BTR etc. Team Weibo became the winner of the tournament with 241 points and followed by team Huya FA with 180 points and team ZEUS Esports with 164 points. Team Weibo won a prize pool of 185,217 dollars and prizes were also distributed to other teams according to their placement in the tournament.
As the Esports community is growing, people who are interested in gaming can have good opportunities in PUBG competitions. They can earn both name and fame with income through tournaments. So, nowadays gaming is also very popular for career building among teenagers.
