On March 1, Sunday, our college decided to take us for a hike for refreshment. The Hiking spot was Sundarijal to Chisapani. Our teacher mailed us a week before and we were so excited. We made so many plans but all of them failed. Finally, the day came and we were at college at 7:00 am. It was really hard for us to wait. Then, all the teachers came and we went inside the bus. We played music and danced as much as we could. After 35-40 min, we reached Sundarijal. We started walking and after 10 min of uphill road, I was already tired. We started talking and walking. It was really hard for me because I had not walked for 6 hours before. Almost after 3 hours of walking, we had a rest for a while. We ate something, drank water, and again started the journey.

But, as we started we were so tired that we couldn't walk as before and slipped on the road. We also went to a small temple and worshipped a Goddess there. It took 5 hours to reach Chisapani. Finally, the roads were downhill and we were happy. After walking for about 1 hour, we reached a small hotel where we took a rest and ate something. We also played with some dogs there. We washed our faces and again started to walk. But after 5 minutes of walk from there, we saw our college bus, and we were so happy that we all ran towards it. We sat on the bus and went towards our college. But we couldn't play the music at that time because it was a conservation area. When we crossed that area, we again played music and started dancing. While returning, our teachers also danced with us and we were so happy. At 7, we went to the Jimbhu Thakali which is located in Naxal, and ate delicious food there. Then we returned home at 8.

Sundarijal to Chisapani follows a scenic route and the unstoppable stone stairs that lead us to Chisapani. It is an amazing place with jungles around. My first hike from college went so well. It was an amazing experience for me and I’ll never forget it throughout my life.
