Kimetsu no yaiba is one of the most amazing and fascinatingly well-drawn anime, from the great level of animation to the uniqueness of the characters it both gets us into the anime and creates this amazing place for the characters.
The anime by most is considered super amazing and good with epic plotlines but that doesn't mean that it is without flaws. The anime has superb characters, and there is also room for the anime to develop even properly. The uniqueness of the characters is like the ones we have never seen in the other animes, Yet you might be talking then Swornim why did you say that the anime has flaws when you are praising it so much? A simple answer to that would be I liked the anime, the animation of the anime, and the thrill I got from watching it, but not all people are like me to enjoy almost everything.
When people watch anime they not only look for an amazing thrilling anime just because it has some fight scenes, people want those characters to show emotion and have an emotional struggle that they overcome, or some want to see the characters develop and create a complete turn of events. Yes Kimetsu no yaiba has some character growth and development but that's not so deep and some characters like nezuko's development are not super amazing. Yet we can observe that this anime does have a lot of character growth which in comparison to character development are completely different from each other. Character growth can often be together with character development and that causes confusion. But understanding this is necessary when criticizing animes like demon slayer.
Character development is often followed by emotional, spiritual development of the characters but the character growth may not contain that and only contain the development of new skills of characters in the plot. For more about character development refer to Character growth.
Just like that this anime is amazing and fun to watch but lacks some vital to characters. To me, the plot seemed decent, but there are not a lot of plot twists that may cause a monotone feeling in the anime. As for the enjoyment and thrill that you get it is indeed far more fun. To rephrase that this anime I really did enjoy it that the plot nor the characters are super fascinating, Yet The hype up of the song is super good and is probably one of the best anime songs.
I would rate this a 7 out of 10 anime super amazing animation, fun and thrilling but lacking the feel of characters and overall makes you feel like there is something lacking in this anime and if that improves then the rating might too but for season 1 I give it a 7/10.
