Nepal is slowly making use of the India/UK’s Covid-19 vaccine Covishield. Most of the health care professionals have already been vaccinated, and therefore the government has requested and has progressed to vaccinate people furthermore. With Covid 19 being only a year old, can we trust a vaccine so early? Safety isn't being compromised but we still do not know how effective the vaccine is. If you've got food allergies, then this vaccine isn't for you yet – the govt has also said this in an exceedingly recent advisory. Always consult your physician before choosing the vaccine. During the trial of the vaccine, 560 Volunteers were vaccinated, and researchers found that 56 people responded well to the vaccine, and a rise in immunity was observed altogether among age groups. However there have been 13 “serious adverse events” during the research and “none of them were considered to be associated with either study vaccine ”, researchers wrote. Still, further research is required to substantiate the efficiency of the vaccine, the researchers said.

In line with the WHO, 47 vaccines are currently in clinical testing of which 10 are in phase 3 efficacy trials. I personally would wait some months and observe the vaccines, however, If you trust the vaccine, you ought to definitely get onto it.
