Introduction To CRYPTOGRAPHY

Secret key Cryptography, also known as symmetric key in simple terms is the process of converting text into an incomprehensible format and vice-versa to keep data confidential or it is simply a method that is used to provide a secure connection and keep it safe from the presence of malicious third-parties.

Cryptography is not just some computer-related language or program cryptography has a long history even before the computers were mentioned. The first known cryptography was found in around 1900 BC in Egypt. Around 100 BC, Julius Cesar was also known to use a form of encryption to convey secret messages during the war.

Cryptography has become one of the most important ways to keep our information safe from any fraud. Nowadays it is almost used by everyone for example it is used by the military to keep secret information safe from other countries, cybersecurity to decrease cybercrimes, the banks for verifications, some people even create their own encrypted language for personal use, etc.

The most commonly used or known cryptography currently are Morse code, True code, Tap code, Steganography, Transposition.
