Stines; the gate is a 2011 anime created by the white fox animation studio. The series was directed by Hiroshi Hamasaki and Takuya Satō, and written by Jukki Hanada, with animation direction and character design by Kyuuta Sakai, and music by Takeshi Abo. It aired for 24 episodes and was simulcast in North and South America, Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Europe by Crunchyroll and in the United Kingdom by Anime on Demand.

This anime is one of a kind with a mix of psychological, si-fi. It is one of the most interesting, fascinating, captivating anime. The plot of this anime is just too good and is superb. It begins with a self-proclaimed mad scientist trying to prove this theory in time travel. And as the plot progresses the twists and the emotion that you invest while watching this anime are really spellbinding. To me, however, the starting of the anime was a little unexpected or rather confusing as to what was really going on. But seems like that confusing turn of events is what exactly drove this anime to such a beauty, incomparable to any others. This anime has the most fascinating linkage between the past, present, and future. In my opinion, there is no anime that is similar in plot or even remotely close to what this anime gives.

The subject of time travel is mind-boggling, it's fantastic and that gives this anime another push on just how each and everything matters. Just like the quote from the character (Okabe) " no one knows what the future holds, that's why the potential is infinite-" This quote is simply too true.
