Will Donald Trump beat his rival Joe Biden and make his way to the White House this year? Well, the voters will decide between Republican candidate President Donald Trump and Democrat former Vice President Joe Biden on November 3, 2020. It is going to be one of the most historic elections the USA will ever see.Trump or Biden will be the oldest candidate to be elected as the President of the United States. At the same time their running mates are Kamala Harris from the Democrat and Mike Pence from the Republican parties.

From election campaigns to the most “insulting” debate, the two are very keen on winning the White
House ticket. The two clashed at each other back to back on their first Presidential debate which was seen by millions of viewers all around the world. Both of them gave their own views on why they should be the President of the USA and why one of them is capable of holding the power of the President. There were many personal comments given to each other which made a total buzz on the news media. The election is not just about who will be the next President, but also about electing the new members of the Congress.

Donald Trump has been among the most controversial presidents in US history. His handling of the coronavirus pandemic has been heavily criticized by not just the US citizens but people all around the world. Not only this, being the president of a powerful nation, he didn’t take heed to health advisory for wearing a mask seriously which resulted in him testing positive for COVID. From the very beginning of the pandemic, instead of taking precautions and saving the lives of US citizens, he has blamed China for it. He has always made a statement saying that the virus will go away which in reality hasn’t. During his four years serving as the president of the United States, he was only making headlines for controversies. He has even made a lot of racist comments which sparked international debate about his image. There is a saying; “Action speaks louder than words”. But in Trump’s case, words have spoken in a louder voice than his work which has always led him to be in headlines of many news channels;whereas his opponent democrat candidate Joe Biden seems to have a lot of positive aspects if he wins the election. According to the BBC, he has said to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour and also invest in green energy. Along with this, he has promised to reverse the immigration policies made by Trump in which he would resolve US-Mexico border issues. He even said he would introduce criminal justice reform in which he mentioned that all the minority communities will not face any kind of discrimination related to race, gender and so on.

The US election has always been a hot topic for everyone around the world and this year is no
exception. Nevertheless, it will be fascinating to see who will win the ‘big ticket’ this year. It will be
exciting to see who will take the limelight, will Trump have his second victory or his rival Biden will
outshine him?
