I remember those lonely nights, broken homes full of strife,
Sleeping in abandoned houses,
Crashing on friends couches,
Walking around for hours at a time,
Restless nights with No peace of mind,
I tried to numb the pain,
With alcohol and drugs,
Trying to fill a void,
With artificial Love,
It only left me empty,
Still feeling the same,
Putting on a fake smile,
To cover the guilt and shame.
